Hazardous Waste Clean Sweep

Fond du Lac County Hazardous Waste Clean Sweep 2025

Saturday, May 3, 2025
9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon
1820 South Hickory Street, Fond du lac, WI 54935 (map below)

Watch for signs directing you to the facility.

Many common items such as automotive products, household cleaners, pesticides and home improvement products are hazardous when used, stored or disposed of improperly. We all end up breathing chemicals burned in a barrel and waste in a landfill can seep into our water supply.  The damage can be life-threatening.  The clean sweep event is a great way to dispose of these items in an effort to prevent that from happening.  Look for items that contain the following warnings on their labels:  “Danger, Warning, Caution, Poison, Combustible, Flammable, Corrosive, and Toxic.”  Please note this event is for residents of Fond du Lac County only.

Households and farms may participate in Fond du Lac County Clean Sweep 2025 for a $5 fee.  Businesses pay for waste disposal.  Discounted rates may apply.  Please note:  No electronics will be accepted at this event.
