The official kickoff for the 2024 home build
Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County will host a groundbreaking ceremony at 180 Ledgeview Avenue in Fond du Lac on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. for the future home of the Kohlmann family. The public is welcome to attend.
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry whose purpose is to build homes with families and sell the homes at no interest for no profit. Qualified and approved candidates must perform (up to) 300 hours of “sweat equity”, which can include helping build their home.
“This is an exciting time for our affiliate,” Stephanie Albers, Board Chair, said. “Being able to assist a family in our community with home ownership is an amazing opportunity. We look forward to working with the family to ensure financial stability and continued success.”
Habitat for Humanity homes are constructed through volunteers. If you or your organization is interested in volunteering (building or providing a meal), please contact the Fond du Lac affiliate at [email protected] or call 920.921.6623
