Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County Appoints New Executive Director

Kathy Strong-Langolf rejoins the organization

Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County has announced the hiring of a new executive director. Kathy Strong-Langolf has rejoined the organization and will reprise her role. Kathy had previously held this position within the organization.

In this role, Kathy will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the organization, including, but not limited to, budgeting; organizing volunteers; securing funding; fundraising; donor relations; and programs and activities.

“I’m excited to be back with this organization,” Strong-Langolf, said. “Habitat for Humanity has a special place in my heart. Helping the people in our local community achieve homeownership is such an amazing feeling. Sharing the story of Habitat is something I very much look forward to.”

Kathy was most recently the Event and Theatre Manager at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, Fond du Lac campus. She holds degrees from Moraine Park Technical College, Fox Valley Technical College, and Lakeland College. She serves as a board member with the Fond du Lac Yacht Club, as treasurer with the Fond du Lac Boating Club, is the public relations chair of the Fond du Lac Chapter of the Professional Women’s Connection, secretary of the Fond du Lac Noon Kiwanis, and Lt. Governor for the WI-UM Division 9.
