Marian University women’s soccer (4-2-2, 3-1-0 NACC) earned a second straight conference win defeating Aurora 3-1.

- Junior Isabella Goodson opened the scoring at the 10:01 mark after burying a cross from junior Abby Larson.
- Just 4:10 later, Goodson found the back of the net for the second time, third on the season, to put Marian ahead 2-0, assist to junior Jacqueline Campos.
- The Spartans responded in the 26th minute cutting the deficit in half to only trail 2-1 going into halftime.
- A slow paced second half didn’t see as many quality chances for either side.
- Larson was able to ice the game with her third goal fo the season with just 1:06 left to play in the game, Campos earning her second assist of the game on the score.

- The Sabres were outshot 15-12 for the game but outshot the Spartans 8-6 for shots on target.
- Each team had nine fouls and five saves.
- The Spartans held an 11-3 edge in corner-kick opportunities.
- Marian has now won the past four meetings against Aurora.
