Celebrating National Recognition, A Reflection of Furthering the Health of Our Communities
Multiple Froedtert ThedaCare hospitals and clinical specialties have been named to U.S. News & World Report’s latest 2026-2027 Best Hospitals ratings. This is the highest distinction hospitals and clinical specialties can earn from U.S. News & World Report during the publication’s annual Procedures & Conditions ratings.
Froedtert ThedaCare joins 505 other hospitals on the U.S. News & World Report Best Regional Hospitals list, with each hospital demonstrating superior outcomes. Froedtert ThedaCare sites were also rated as “High-Performing” across multiple clinical procedures and specialties, including cancer care, cardiology and heart procedures, neurology, rehabilitation and others. Just 16% of evaluated hospitals earned designations from U.S. News & World Report.

In addition to these recognitions, Froedtert ThedaCare hospitals were ranked in-state and regionally, receiving top rankings in specialties and overall quality in Wisconsin and in the Milwaukee Metro Area, including:
- Froedtert Hospital – #1 in Wisconsin and Milwaukee Metro Area, Rehabilitation
- Froedtert Hospital – #1 in Milwaukee Metro Area, Cancer
- Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital – ranked as High Performing in Prostate Cancer Surgery and Pneumonia
- ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton – ranked as High Performing in Colon Cancer Surgery, Hip and Knee Replacement
Froedtert Hospital also received Best Hospital national recognitions for Gastroenterology & GI Surgery, Pulmonology & Lung Surgery, and Rehabilitation.

U.S. News & World Report evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals across 14 adult specialties and 23 procedures and conditions using objective measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and patient experience. More than 800 million records of patient care were analyzed as part of the list evaluation. These ratings from U.S. News & World Report are designed to help providers and patients make informed decisions about where to receive clinical care.
