Senior Daunte Fortner of Marian University NCAA men’s hockey has been selected as one of the NCHA Stars of the Week.

Fortner (Kingsford, Mich.) recorded six points over three gams to lead the Marian offense.  He opened the week with his first multi-goal game of the season in a non-conference match-up with Augsburg.  Fortner then had a four-point game in a 5-1 win over Lake Forest in NCHA action.  He would score a goal to go with a season-high three helpers against the Foresters for his fifth multi-point effort of the season.  Fortner currently ranks 10th in the NCHA with his 15 points on the season.
