City of Fond du Lac is seeking public input on the vision for long-term improvements
The City of Fond du Lac is seeking public input on the vision for long-term improvements along the Downtown Riverfront and the North Main Street Corridor on November 28th, 2022 from 6:00-7:30
p.m. at the Senior Center located at 151 E. 1st Street.
As part of continued efforts to enhance the quality of life and being an attractive place to live, work and play, the City is looking for opportunities to enhance, utilize and celebrate the Fond du Lac River and the North
Main Street corridor from the Downtown to Lakeside Park.
Riverfront Plan
The City is partnering with MSA Professional Services to lead this planning effort. MSA will present work completed to-date prior to facilitating small group discussions with residents to discuss opportunities for
improving the riverfront.
North Main Street Redevelopment Plan
Stations will allow participants to identify issues and opportunities along the North Main Street corridor, as well as reactions to consultant-identified redevelopment priorities.
Both plans will serve as a guide for making public improvements, supporting positive redevelopment projects and establishing an implementation plan to move each corridor closer to the desired visions. While the topic
and location of the two projects will garner different recommendations and focus, both corridors can have a long-lasting impact to the continued growth of the Downtown and the City as whole.
