The Department of Public Works would like to inform the motoring public of the closure of the southbound lane of N. Main Street, between Merrill Avenue and Division Street. The closure will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22 and remain closed until 3:00 p.m.

Motorist are encouraged to utilize alternative routes while the work takes place, as there will be no signed detour route.

Downtown business, patrons, and residents who live within the closure will have access to their properties during this work.

The closure will be in place to allow crews to complete water service installations as part of the Main Street Rehabilitation project.
