The Fond du Lac County Historical Society is excited to announce the date for its annual Christmas Gift Shop Sale at the Galloway House and Village Grounds. The sale will take place on December 5th from 9am-2pm in the Welcome Center/Gift Shop at 336 Old Pioneer Road, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
The Society is taking health and safety very seriously during the pandemic. The sale will be socially distanced and all staff and volunteers will be wearing masks. Shoppers will be encouraged to wear masks as well.
This is a one day sale that will feature postcards, ornaments, Christmas decorations, t-shirts, coffee mugs, puzzles, pictures, antiques, history books, toys, games, and many more Fond du Lac-centric items. Cash, check or credit card is accepted. Community members are encouraged to shop local and support The Fond du Lac County Historical Society this holiday season.
The Historical Society is currently closed for the 2020 season. While most in person events and operations were cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, The Society used this opportunity to make great progress on construction to restore and renovate the Galloway House and Village Grounds through our Capital Campaign. The Fond du Lac County Historical Society will be welcoming the community back to our grounds on May 31, 2021. Our opening season will run from Labor Day to Memorial Day. All 2021 events, programming, and tours are tentative and may change based on governmental rules and safety precautions.
