Keith Heisler to serve one-year term as Council President; Tiffany Brault elected Vice President

The Fond du Lac City Council elected Councilmember Keith Heisler as Council President and Councilmember Tiffany Brault as Vice President during its annual organizational meeting on Tuesday.

The City Council reorganizes annually, statutorily after April elections, and elects one of its members to serve as Council President for a one-year term. The Council President presides over Council meetings, issues proclamations, and represents the City at various meetings and special events.

Heisler was first elected to the City Council in 2021 and was reelected in 2023 and 2025. This will be his second time serving as Council President.

Brault was first elected to the City Council in 2021 and previously served as Council President for two consecutive years, the maximum allowed under Council policy.

“Our City Council relies on strong leadership in order to thrive,” said City Manager Joe Moore. “Both Keith Heisler and Tiffany Brault have dependably served on our City Council for several years, and I look forward to seeing their continued leadership in their new positions.”

City Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Legislative Chambers of the City/County Government Center, 160 S. Macy St.
