Fond du Lac Banker, James Chatterton, to Serve on Wisconsin Bankers Association Board

James Chatterton, president of National Exchange Bank & Trust, will serve a full three-year term on the Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) Board of Directors. He previously served a one-year term.

“I am happy to welcome Jim to the Board of Directors for a full term,” said Rose Oswald Poels, president/CEO of the WBA. “His leadership and commitment to the banking community will continue to be an asset to the Board.”

Chatterton joined National Exchange Bank & Trust in 2016 as the President and COO when the two sister banks of NEB Corp., American Bank and National Exchange Bank & Trust, merged. Previously, he served as the CEO of American Bank for 17 years. Chatterton has his Bachelor’s degree from UW-Whitewater and his MBA from Marquette University. He also has a degree from the Graduate School of Banking in Madison.

The Wisconsin Bankers Association is the state’s largest financial industry trade association, representing nearly 235 commercial banks and savings institutions, their nearly 2,300 branch offices and 23,000 employees.
