As shared at our 2023 Wellness Conference, FABOH has recently added to its value proposition for members by offering no-cost, in-person leadership training to support employee engagement. This series will provide quarterly training opportunities for all FABOH member employees but is aimed specifically at supervisors, managers, directors, or any other employees who currently lead others within their organization or aspire to in the future.
Today, we are excited to expand this offering (for a fee) to other local employers to support their efforts in developing top quality leaders as well. Sessions can be purchased individually or as a series for a discounted rate, please see the prices below.

Shelf-Life – Enhancing Your Sustainability & “Freshness”

Research has shown that mortality is the number one cause of death in the world (at an alarming rate of 100%). Understanding this critical research allows us to focus on the time we have on this big blue marble we call Earth. Harnessing the power of Optimism, Happiness, Providence and Relationships, these research-based actions and mind-sets will instantly change the way one interacts with the world. Time to push that expiration date back and freshen up!
About Aaron:
Aaron Sadoff was born in 1971 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He is a Gulf War veteran and a graduate of UW-Madison and Marian University. He has dedicated 25 years to the field of education as a teacher, principal and superintendent. His passion is developing, leading and sustaining a culture of happiness. He believes that the science of happiness and positive psychology can revolutionize the way that organizations are working to best impact the success of staff and the clients they serve. Formerly the Superintendent of North Fond du Lac School District and honored as the 2019 Wisconsin Superintendent of the Year, Aaron is now the Executive Director of the Fond du Lac Area Foundation.
Servant Leadership 101

Servant Leadership 101 will provide a basic introduction to the principles of servant leadership. Through this 90 min. workshop, individuals will be taught insight and leadership practices that are focused on leading by bringing out the best in self and others. It is tailored to help prepare anyone to have a better understanding of servant leadership and communication skills and deepen their ability to build trusting relationships with others in teams, organizations and communities.
About Christa:
Christa is dedicated to “engaging and igniting the potential” in people. As executive director of Sophia Transformative Leadership Partners (Sophia) for the past 15 years, Christa brings servant leadership to life as its operational leader, chief strategist, learning facilitator, and scholar. With more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in corporate, non-profit, and educational settings, she has been the lead designer and facilitator of Sophia’s leadership programs since 2011.
Emotionally Intelligent Leadership
Date: Wednesday, August 23rd, 8:30-10:30 AM

In this workshop participants will gain exposure to the Four Core Skills of Emotional Intelligence. Prior to the session, each participant will complete an on-line assessment found in the book Emotional Intelligence 2.0 for review during the workshop.
Desired Outcomes for this workshop include:
- an enhanced understanding of Emotional Intelligence levels;
- awareness of the 69 Strategies to support personal development; and
- the development of personal connections to the “True Colors” assessment.
About Cristi:
Cristi currently serves as the Organizational and Talent Development Leader for Oshkosh Corporation. She was formerly a learning and talent specialist for U.S. Venture Inc., where she designed and facilitated leadership programs teaching management and soft skills, curating learning opportunities based on business needs and worked with team members on developing themselves and their careers. She is also a faculty member and executive coach for the St Norbert College Center for Exceptional Leadership.
Authentic Confidence

Overconfidence repels while under-confidence stalls. Leaders and teams who exhibit appropriate levels of Authentic Confidence diminish unhealthy tension and conflict, while enhancing engagement, communication and team alignment.
Program Outcomes:
- Increased self-awareness;
- Move team members from inner critics to inner coaches, from inner coaches to outer coaches, and finally, to confident communicators;
- Enhance individual relationships and team dynamics;
- Boost communication to help the leadership team reach new levels of success; and
- Create a coaching culture that increases overall engagement and trust.
