Super-simple Crafting Event Joins Slate of Artsy Activities at the FDL Public Library

Know an adult who loves to craft but needs to keep it simple? The newest craft program at the Fond du Lac Public Library will be perfect for them.

Starting Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. in the Idea Studio, join library staff for Super-Simple Crafts. Each month, library staff will walk participants through an extremely easy craft appropriate for almost any skill or ability level. All supplies will be provided. Registration begins Sept. 12 at calendar.fdlpl.org.

Returning craft events in September include Evening Craft Class, which will be held Monday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. in the McLane Room. This month, join library staff as you create Halloween Tea Lights. All supplies will be provided. Register starting Aug. 28 at calendar.fdlpl.org.

Then, get ready for cooler fall weather by creating your own reusable coffee cup sleeve during Good-Natured Crafts. The program will be held Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. in the Idea Studio. All supplies will be provided. Register starting Sept. 12 at calendar.fdlpl.org.

Fond du Lac Public Library operates two locations: the Main Library at 32 Sheboygan St. in downtown Fond du Lac, and the Allen J. Buechel Branch at 1132 E. Johnson St. near Festival Foods. The main library is open daily: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Chapter 52 Bookstore at 52 Sheboygan St. is open Monday through Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., while the Allen J. Buechel Branch is open weekdays from 2 to 6 p.m., and weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
