Ignite Rural Welcomes Ten Businesses in its First Cohort

IGNITE Rural is an innovative business accelerator program designed specifically for solopreneurs eager to advance their ventures. Hosted by IGNITE Small Business & Startup Success, a program of Envision Greater Fond du Lac, this initiative aims to empower and support entrepreneurs in Waupun and throughout Fond du Lac County.

Over the course of 5 weeks, participants of IGNITE Rural will receive expert guidance through comprehensive workshops led by Envision Greater Fond du Lac. Participating businesses cover a range of industries including manufacturing, agriculture, professional services, ecommerce, and retail. At the end of the 5-week course, participants will pitch their business propositions to a panel of judges.

The general public is invited to attend the final pitch event on November 6, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Waupun High School Auditorium (LGI Room). First place will be awarded $30,000 to invest in their business. Second place will be awarded a $20,000 investment.
