Envision Greater Fond du Lac has hired Bob Jones to serve in the role of Vice President of Economic Development.

“We’re looking forward to Bob joining the team,” Sadie Vander Velde, President/CEO, said. “He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in economic development and in the areas of planning, development, retention, and entrepreneurship. His leadership and expansive career are an exceptional addition to Envision.”

In this role, Bob is responsible for managing the economic development division, serving as the primary point of contact for economic development and site selectors, company executives, business owners, brokers, and public officials to encourage companies to locate or expand in this region, as well as business-retention, expansion, and attraction.

“I am very excited to be joining the team at Envision Greater Fond du Lac,“ Bob Jones said. “Economic Development is something I am very passionate about, and I am looking forward to contributing to the region’s continued growth.”

Bob most recently held the role of Economic Development Director for the City of Cuba City, Wisconsin. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Western Illinois University. Additionally, he holds a certification in small business administration and is a member of the Wisconsin Economic Development Association.
