The community plan formerly called Envision Fond du Lac is now called The Envision Initiative, and it is alive and well. Many private sector business, non-profits, and government entities are working together to drive this community-owned initiative forward, and more are welcome to join us. Envision Greater Fond du Lac serves as the hub organization to keep the partners working together on projects and initiatives. For updates on The Envision Initiative, check out the website.

In 2018 our team completed a federal Department of Defense grant in an effort to regionalize entrepreneurial activity along the I-41 Corridor. Deliverables included a brand new web-based tracking system for entrepreneurial activity within the IGNITE! Fond du Lac County network, having a total of over 40 entrepreneur events along I-41 for Startup Wisconsin Week (with six in the Fond du Lac area), and adding user-friendly Size Up market research tool to entrepreneurial resources for all areas of the region.
