Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership Celebrates Amy Krupp’s Retirement After 18 Years of Service and Announces Leadership Transition

The Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership (DFP) proudly announces the retirement of Executive Director Amy Krupp, effective April 30, 2026. Over the past 18 years, Krupp has played a pivotal role in strengthening, growing, and shaping downtown Fond du Lac.

Reflecting on her time with the organization, Krupp shared, “I am incredibly grateful for the support and partnership of our Board of Directors, dedicated staff, City leadership, and the many business and property owners who work towards the betterment of downtown Fond du Lac. The progress we’ve made has been a collective effort, and I am proud of what we have accomplished, and I know great things are still to come.”

As the organization celebrates her legacy and impact, the Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership is actively navigating a leadership transition. Following an initial round of interviews, the Board of Directors has elected to continue the search to ensure the selection of the strongest possible candidate to lead the organization forward.

During this interim period, Special Events Director Brittany Machleit will serve as Interim Executive Director, providing leadership for day-to-day operations and ensuring the continued success of DFP programs, initiatives, and events. She will remain in this role until a permanent Executive Director is appointed.

Board President JJ Rafik stated, “The Board of Directors is committed to conducting a thoughtful and comprehensive search process to identify a leader who will build upon Amy’s strong foundation and continue
advancing the mission of the DFP.”
