Diamond Rio in Beaver Dam: Country Hits, Harmony & Heart – August 14

Beaver Dam, get ready for a night of country music you won’t forget! The Dodge County Fair is bringing the best of country music right to our hometown, with a live performance by Diamond Rio on Thursday, August 14 at 8pm. The group will perform on the Moraine Park Main Stage and will keep you dancing in the grandstands all night long. Pair that with classic fair food, cold drinks, FREE ENTERTAINMENT and deals on the midway — and you have the perfect summer night. Grab your boots, gather your crew, and join us at the Dodge County Fairgrounds for a high-energy concert that’s pure Wisconsin fun!

With a career spanning over three decades, Diamond Rio has built a loyal fanbase through a long list of chart-topping hits like “How Your Love Makes Me Feel,” “Beautiful Mess,” “Unbelievable,” and “I Believe.” Their breakout single, “Meet in the Middle,” made history as the first debut single by a country group to hit Number One on the charts. Since then, Diamond Rio has gone on to release six more Number One singles, twenty Top Ten hits, and fifteen songs that reached the Top Five. With new releases like “The Kick,” fans can look forward to the classic Diamond Rio sound that they love — combined with fresh energy and a dynamic stage presence that continues to evolve while staying true to their roots.

The group’s success has earned them six Vocal Group of the Year awards from both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association, along with a Grammy Award in 2011 for Best Southern, Country, or Bluegrass Gospel Album for “The Reason”. They’ve also been recognized with fourteen Grammy nominations over the years, showcasing the depth and consistency of their talent.

Thursday is about more than just music, though! Animal exhibits and art and craft judging will be going on all day. Visit one of many food trucks or vendors for lunch or dinner and delicious fair food that you can only enjoy once a year.

Attending the concert as a family? Make the day about kids! Pig, duck and goat races, the Ready Go dog show, Nick’s kid show and the Wild World of Animals will be showing throughout the day across the fairgrounds. Families can also enjoy carnival games and amazing deals on the midway Thursday. Kids can ride as many rides as they want between 1-5pm kids with a discounted $25 wristband. Additional wristband deals will be offered between 6-10pm for $30.

Diamond Rio’s fans are encouraged to arrive early to grab a good seat in the grandstands. Be sure to check the fair’s website for seating guidelines ahead of time for this general admission concert. Diamond Rio is rounding out an exciting trio of acts taking the Moraine Park Main Stage in the free concert lineup. Corey Kent will sing on Friday, August 15 and 38 Special will perform on Saturday, August 16. The Badger State Truck and Tractor Pull is scheduled for Wednesday evening, with another truck pull and two demolition derbies rounding out the entertainment on Sunday. All concerts and entertainment are included with paid gate admission. and parking at the fairgrounds is always free!

Daily gate admission is just $10 if you arrive before noon, or $15 after 12:00 PM. Kids 9 and under get in FREE! Planning to attend multiple days and enjoy ALL of the great entertainment? Grab a season pass for only $35 in advance or $40 at the gate. Tickets are now available at most Dodge County banks, Beaver Dam Market, Beaver Dam or Juneau Piggly Wiggly, Leroy Meats of Juneau and Fox Lake, or the Fairgrounds Office. You can also purchase online — choose a $15 single-day ticket or a $35 season pass for the best value. Plus, parking at the Dodge County Fairgrounds is always free!
