Marian University women’s basketball (3-9, 1-2 NACC) defeated Concordia Wisconsin 56-45 for its first win over CUW since the 2010-11 season.

- The opening quarter saw both offenses struggle as CUW jumped out to a quick 9-4 lead and went into the second quarter ahead 12-8.
- The Sabres bounced back opening the second with a 15-2 run to lead 23-14 with 3:12 left to play.
- The Falcons made sure to cut into that deficit closing the stanza with seven unanswered points.
- Marian was able to take a 23-21 advantage into halftime.
- CUW cut its deficit down to one to open the third before Marian closed the quarter with a 13-2 run to lead 39-27 headed into the final 10 minutes.
- Marian maintained a double-digit advantage for most of the final quarter and led by as much as 14.
- After a free-throw filled final minute, Marian would earn a 56-45 victory.

- Marian finished 21-of-61 (.344) from the field but shot just 4-of-24 (.167) on three-pointers.
- The Sabre defense held CUW to 15-of-70 (.214) shooting and 5-of-25 (.250) from beyond the arc.
- Marian had a 26-20 advantage for points in the paint and 15-9 edge in points off turnovers.
- The Sabres had 10 steals marking the second time this season the Sabres had double-digit swipes.
- The win is the first Sabre victory over CUW since December 1, 2010 and the first home over the Falcons since December 5, 2005.
