Want to spruce up a plain-looking bowl around the house? Join the Idea Studio at the Fond du Lac Public Library on Wednesday, April 19 at 6 p.m.for Let’s Make: Easy Sew Bowl Cozy.

Participants ages 13+ may earn their badge for use of the Idea Studio’s sewing machine as you create your own bowl cozy. Bring in your own fabric for this project or use the materials and fabrics the Idea Studio has available. Register at calendar.fdlpl.org

Then, on Wednesday, April 26 at 6 p.m. in the Idea Studio, join a meeting of the Fond du Lac Press Club (for Printmakers). See informal demonstrations and to learn different printing techniques to try for free.

No experience necessary for this free program. The program is designed for adults and teens age 13+; younger children are allowed with a parent or caregiver.

The Idea Studio is open for walk-in visits Monday through Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.

Fond du Lac Public Library operates two locations: the Main Library at 32 Sheboygan St. in downtown Fond du Lac, and FDLPL Express at 1132 E. Johnson St. near Festival Foods. The main library is open daily: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Chapter 52 Bookstore at 52 Sheboygan St. is open Monday through Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., while FDLPL Express is open weekdays from 2 to 6 p.m., and weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
