COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Update for Individual Age 65 and Older

Today (January 19, 2021), the WI Department of Health Services (WI DHS) announced that individuals age 65 and older will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine beginning January 25. This marks another step into phase 1b, as police and fire personnel began receiving COVID-19 vaccinations this week.

Currently, vaccine rollout is for those in phase 1a and specific groups within phase 1b. Eligible groups within phase 1b include individuals age 65 and older, and police and fire personnel. No other groups have been defined yet and information on the rest of phase 1b eligibility will be shared as available from WI DHS.

Fond du Lac County Health Department, in partnership with Emergency Management and Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds, will be holding COVID-19 vaccination clinics specific for individuals age 65 and older starting January 27, 2021.

WHAT: COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics
WHO: Fond du Lac County residents age 65 and older are eligible to be vaccinated.
WHEN: Starting on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021
WHERE: Fond du Lac County Expo Center, 520 Fond du Lac Ave., Fond du Lac, WI 54935

HOW TO REGISTER: Call Fond du Lac County Health Department at 920-929-3085 and press 1 to schedule an appointment.
 Must call to register. No walk-ins accepted.
 The vaccine offered will likely be Pfizer vaccine which is a 2 dose series. Individuals will be scheduled for their first and second dose appointments upon registration.

 The vaccine clinic will be held within the Expo Center. This is not a drive-thru clinic.
 Information required: first and last name, email, and date of birth.
 Masks required.
