Corey Kent to Rock the Dodge County Fair August 15 – a night for Country Rock Music Fans!

Country music fans, get ready – rising star Corey Kent is bringing his country-rock sound to the 2025 Dodge County Fair as part of the FREE evening concert series. He’ll take the Moraine Park Technical College Main Stage on Friday, August 15 at 8 pm. Arrive early for more fun at the fair – and the best seating available for this free, general admission concert.

Kent first gained national attention as a contestant on Season 8 of The Voice, where he impressed judges and nationwide audiences and secured a Top 8 spot on the popular television show. Since then, Kent has set himself apart from the show and individually achieved a Double-Platinum No. 1 hit, “Wild as Her” and surpassed one billion career streams, quickly cementing his place as one of country music’s rising talents. Kent’s second single “Something’s Gonna Kill Me” followed just as strong, with Gold status. In 2023, Kent was selected as part of the Grand Ole Opry Next Stage Class, spotlighting emerging country music starts who show strong potential in the industry.

Drawing influence from Bruce Springsteen, Brooks & Dunn and Garth Brooks, fans will enjoy Kent’s unique sound that blends heartland grit with southern soul – a sound that’s made him one of the most talked-about names in modern country music. You’ll immediately spot his unique sound and his signature black bandana on stage. Originally worn to keep bugs at bay during motorcycle rides, the signature accessory has become much more than practical gear; it now stands as a symbol of his relentless drive, a tribute to the ups and downs he’s faced along the journey to make his dream a reality. That bandana has influenced his most recent powerful collection of songs.
