Clark named finalist for IBMA Collegiate Bowler of the Year

Rory Clark of Marian University men’s bowling has been named one of nine finalists for the IBMA Collegiate Bowler of the Year.

Clark (Muskego, Wis.) bowled in all 63 possible games for the Sabres and ranks 12th in the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) with a 214.25 average.  His average differential of 36.047 is also fifth in the country.  Clark has earned All-Tournament recognition four times this season with two first-place finishes at the Titan Invite and fourth GLBC Event.  Along with his four All-Tournament picks, Clark has finished in the top 10 at six different tournaments.  Clark led Marian to its first Great Lakes Bowling Conference (GLBC) championship this year.  At tier one events, Clark is averaging 211.4 pins over 22 games.

The IBMA Collegiate Bowler of the Year will be announced at the Champions Banquet of the Intercollegiate Team Championships Wednesday, April 17.
