Junior Emilee Clarey of Marian University field hockey has been selected as the CFHC Defensive Player of the Week.
Clarey (New Hartford, N.Y.) continued to anchor a Sabre defense that has found its stride down the homestretch of the season. She made 13 saves on the weekend as Marian was narrowly edged by Rhodes 1-0 before defeating Sewanee 2-1.
