Sophomore Emilee Clarey has been selected as the CFHC Defensive Player of the Week.
Clarey (New Hartford, N.Y.) led Marian to victories over Concordia Wisconsin and Earlham in a pair of home games. She was particularly strong in the opening game of the season against CUW where she made six saves with a .750 save percentage. Clarey made four of her saves in the second half with two of them coming in the final quarter of action. This is the third Player of the Week award for Clarey in her Sabre career.
