Clarey Earns Second CFHC Defensive Player of the Week Award

Sophomore Emilee Clarey has been named the CFHC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Clarey (New Hartford, N.Y.) had one of the best performances of her career against a tough Goucher squad.  Clarey would turn away a career-high 13 shots from the Gophers and only allowed two goals to give her an .867 save percentage.  She helped anchor the defense to allowing zero goals off of penalty corners on 12 chances.  Through five starts, Clarey leads the CFHC with a .780 save percentage and is second in the conference with a 1.89 goals-against average.

This is the fourth weekly award for her career.
