WHAT: The City of Fond du Lac is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Main Street Rehabilitation Project and the reopening of a revitalized Main Street to through traffic. Main Street improvements include resurfaced asphalt from 6th Street to Merrill Street, as well as repairs to curbs, gutters, crosswalks/ramps, utility structures and water mains. The revitalized Main Street area will serve as a community hub for Fond du Lac’s downtown, a central location for local businesses, festivals and events.
