City offices in the City/County Government Center will be closed all day on December 24th-December 26th and December 31st-January 2nd in observance of the holidays.

The Municipal Service Center office will be closed on December 24th and 25th as well as on December 31st and January 1st for all services, including refuse/garbage collection and bulky waste drop off. However, yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours. Note: The bulky waste drop off site will also be closed Wednesdays December 24th and December 31st.

Refuse and recycling will be collected as follows:

• Monday and Tuesday customers
  o No change to collection schedule
• Wednesday customers
  o Refuse/garbage will be picked up on Tuesday, December 23rd and Tuesday, December 30th– one day early.
  o Recycling will be picked up as regularly scheduled on Wednesday, December 24th and Wednesday, December 31st.
• Thursday customers
  o Refuse/garbage will be picked up on Friday, December 26th and Friday, January 2nd.
  o Recycling will be picked up on Friday, December 26th and Friday, January 2nd.
• Friday customers
  o Refuse/garbage will be picked up as regularly scheduled on Friday, December 26th.
  o Recycling will be picked up on Saturday, December 27th and Saturday, January 3rd.
• Please have your materials set out by 5:00 am to accommodate the additional collections.
  

Fond du Lac Area Transit will not operate on December 24th, December 25th, December 31st, and January 1st.

The Senior Center will closed all day December 24th – December 26th and December 31stJanuary 2nd. 

The Main Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed all day on December 24th and December 25th for the Christmas holiday. It will close at 4:00pm on December 31st and be closed all day on January 1st for New Year’s Day. Please go to www.fdlpl.org for information on other locations.

As always, the Police and Fire Departments will be fully operational throughout the holiday period.
