This presentation will provide an overview of The Wisconsin Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (WAHTTF), the enhanced collaborative model, and the task force’s efforts towards creating a statewide multidisciplinary team. It will also discuss the basics of what constitutes Human Trafficking in Wisconsin, and local trends.

Speaker Bios
- Alexandra Stanley is the Task Force Coordinator for the Wisconsin Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force, and her role is based at the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI). Alex has over a decade of experience working in victim/survivor advocacy in community-based and law enforcement settings, and most recently worked as a Victim Witness Specialist assigned to violent felony cases at the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office in California. She is an advanced Spanish speaker and holds a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from the University of Chicago.”
- Lindsay Lehr is a Special Agent with the Wisconsin Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation assigned to the Human Trafficking Bureau in Appleton, Wisconsin. SA Lehr has been in Law Enforcement for 15 years and has been with the division for 6 years, working Human Trafficking cases for the last 3 years.
- Jeremiah Winscher has been in law enforcement since 2007. First as a Wisconsin State Trooper in Winnebago County from 2007 through 2011 and then as a WI Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation Special Agent from 2011 through 2022. As a DCI Special Agent I worked primarily in the world of narcotics, investigating drug related distribution cases at the state and federal levels. I was additionally assigned as a Federal Task Force Officer with the US DOJ – Drug Enforcement Administration from 2018 through 2022. In 2022 I was promoted to Special Agent in Charge and assigned as the Project Director for the Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group – Drug Unit (LWAM). LWAM is a multijurisdictional drug task force covering Outagamie, Winnebago, Calumet and Fond du Lac Counties with 15 different participating law enforcement agencies across those counties. LWAM is focused on investigating and enforcement both state and federal drug trafficking laws in an effort to disrupt and/or dismantle drug trafficking organizations operating within its area of responsibility.
- Bethany Lerch is a Psychological Associate for the State of Wisconsin at Taycheedah Correctional. She has been a dual diagnosis therapist for SSM Behavioral Health in Fond du Lac and Ripon, as well as Rogers Behavioral Health in Appleton. Bethany also worked as a teacher in the Middle East, lecturer at the University of Leipzig in Germany, and Military Trainer at NATO HQ in Kabul, Afghanistan. Outside work she likes to hike, kitesurf Winnebago, and try to cook.
