Book-lovers unite! Chat about books at FDLPL

Love to discuss books with other book-lovers? The Fond du Lac Public Library has a series of upcoming events just for you.

Starting Nov. 15, the library will host a fireside Book Chat every Tuesday in November. This program, which will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the fireplace on the first floor of the Main Library, will be a chance to discuss a favorite book with library staff, as well as other bibliophiles.

Then, on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. in the Seefeld Room, join the newest library-sponsored book club, the Dead Good Book Club. This group will meet monthly to discuss a different mystery/suspense/thriller/true crime book. November’s book will be “Still Life” by Louise Penny.

Prefer to enjoy stories from the comfort of your own home, but not sure what to read? The Fond du Lac Public Library has plenty of suggestions of tales to try. Visit fdlpl.org and choose an option from the “Find It” menu.
