BGCFDL Leadership Team Announcements

At the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac, strong leadership plays an important role in creating safe, supportive, and inspiring experiences for the youth and families we serve each day. As our organization continues to grow and evolve, we are excited to share a few exciting updates within our leadership team, including welcoming a new team member, celebrating an internal transition, and recognizing a well-earned promotion. These changes reflect our continued commitment to building a passionate team dedicated to helping all young people reach their full potential.

Alicia Gramza was welcomed to the team in early February, taking on the very important role of Food Service Coordinator.

Alicia moved from Texas to Wisconsin in 2017 and began working at Fond du Lac High School, where she spent two years in the cafeteria serving students. She truly loved her role and especially enjoyed interacting with the teens each day. During a summer program, she was selected to assist at the Boys & Girls Club, where she quickly developed a deep appreciation for both the staff and the students. This experience allowed her to build meaningful connections with the kids and further strengthened her passion for working with youth. The supportive and welcoming environment made a lasting impression on her.

While continuing my full-time position at the high school, I joined the Boys & Girls Club part-time. I knew that if a full-time opportunity ever became available, it would be my dream job. When a position opened for Food Service Coordinator, I was excited to learn more and gratefully accepted the role. I am proud to now serve in a position that allows me to combine my passion for food service with my dedication to supporting and connecting with youth.

Anna Koepsell has transitioned to a new role as our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Coordinator.

Anna grew up in Fond du Lac where she lives with her husband, son, and their two dogs. She has worn many hats at the Club over the years, including her first role working at the front desk of the Riverside site, then as the Teen Center Program Coordinator during college, and returned in 2023 as the Roberts Extension Director for almost three school years.

I am excited to step into my new role as SEL Coordinator and put my Social Work degree into practice! I look forward to supporting our members as they learn to understand their feelings and develop healthy coping skills. I believe that having strong social and emotional skills help set children on a path to becoming happy and healthy adults. One of my favorite parts of working at the Club is getting the opportunity to show EVERY child that they matter and have a place where they can feel safe and loved. I truly believe that great futures start here and it is an honor to serve our community at this organization.

Kate Mayfield has been promoted to Roberts Extension Director.

Kate is from Kokomo, Indiana and is currently a graduate student at Marian University studying Organizational Leadership. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Digital Communications and Public Relations & Strategic Communications in December 2025. She is also a part of the women’s soccer team at Marian. She is currently in her third year working for the Boys & Girls Club and has been at Roberts since starting as a Youth Development Professional in January 2024 during her sophomore year of college.

In November 2025, I had the opportunity to take on the position of Program Leader for Roberts and now I am excited to take on my new position as Extension Director. I am grateful for this new opportunity to be more involved with the kids and take on a bigger leadership role.
