Women’s Empowerment Series opens Mentor Applications/Interview

We EmpowHER, a non-profit organization that supports women and families in the Fox Cities, is excited to announce the 6th Annual Women’s Empowerment Series. The Women’s Empowerment Series is the cornerstone program of We EmpowHER that connects women and empowers them to create their best life. This unique opportunity pairs participants with a one-on-one mentor to support, guide and empower them along this journey.

We EmpowHER is looking for individuals who are passionate about serving their community, have a willingness to provide a listening ear and emotional support and an excitement in being a
positive influence and walking alongside her mentee on this powerful journey.

A mentor’s commitment includes attending a weekly class Tuesdays from 5-8 PM starting September 12 through November 28, 2023. Additionally, mentors continue developing a
relationship with their mentee and put her new tools into practice between December 2023 and February 2024. Finally, the mentor attends a graduation event celebrating the participant
and her accomplishments in spring 2024.

“I signed up to be a mentor with the Women’s Empowerment Series and never realized how much it would change MY life”, says Tammy Witt, a Series 2 mentor. “I found the speakers in the
series helped to motivate me to continue on the self-healing path I’d been forging on. My experience as a mentor was rewarding and it gave me great pleasure to walk beside my
mentee”.
