UWO-Fond du Lac campus invites you to an artist reception planned for April 20th  at the Oberreich Gallery located in the University Center Commons.  The reception will be from 4:30 – 7 pm and is free and open to the public.  Join Jim and Janine Sears of the Indigo Gallery as they discuss their passion for their unique artwork.  The exhibit runs through May 12 and viewing hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 8 pm and Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.  UWO-Fond du Lac campus is located at 400 University Drive, FDL. Over the years Jim had a passion for art and music.  His desire for art grew which allowed him to express more creativity and expression on canvas instead of writing music and playing guitar. I learned and developed an appreciation for art not in painting rather a new form called pouring and mastered the technique. 

The combination of painting and pouring lead to the idea of opening a gallery and gift shop and soon the formation of Indigo Gallery and Gifts was underway.  Owning a business has been a dream of Jim’s.  My background is nursing of 20 years and previous owner of a salon and spa in Oshkosh for 2 years.  I am pleased and proud to support Jim’s dream.

Our goal is to be unique and offer more than selling art and gifts.  It is to promote and broaden art to the Fond du Lac Downtown District and surrounding areas while working with other artists, galleries, and businesses.   We have innovative ideas to promote, educate, and impact the art industry locally and beyond. The Indigo Gallery is located at 104 S Main Street Suite 103, Fond du Lac.
