Annual Meeting

Annual Meeting FAQs

Envision Greater Fond du Lac will host their annual meeting on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

How do I register to attend the event?

Register here

This event used to be held in February. Why was it moved to April?

Several factors influenced this decision, including the risky nature of February weather, given many attendees travel from outside the city of Fond du Lac to attend.

Will the event follow the same format as in the past?

Yes. The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a networking hour and vendor fair, then dinner at 6:00 p.m., followed by a 2024 update and awards.
A dessert reception will follow the event.

Where will the event take place?

The Annual Meeting will take place at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center.

Is there a dress “code”?

Although this is not a formal event, business attire is recommended.

Awards

Are the awards the same as in prior years?

We will celebrate the winners of the following awards:

  • Business Excellence Award: Odyssey Cinema
  • Eden-Schneider Award: Radio Plus
  • Volunteer of the Year: Connie Coon, C.D. Smith Construction, Inc.
  • Allen J. Buechel Lifetime Achievement Award: Tom Schneider, Silica for Your Home (retired)
  • Entrepreneur of the Year: Sam Meyer & Stone + Suede Boutique
  • Young Professional of the Year: Mason Gravelle, Agnesian HealthCare Foundation

How does the nomination process work?

Envision invites community members to submit nominations for individuals and businesses across various award categories. Once the nomination period ends, a review committee is assembled to assess the submissions and make recommendations. Selected winners are then notified by a representative from the Envision team.

If an individual or business has received an award in the past, can they win again?

It’s not out of the question, but we prefer to recognize those who have not received an Envision award previously.

Do the award winners have to be Envision members?

Yes, winners must be Envision members.

What is considered when selecting the winners?

The most important consideration is if the nominee is the best fit given the award criteria for each award. It doesn’t matter if there is one nomination or many, the decision is not based on the number of nominations, but rather the quality.

Who chooses the winners?

A volunteer committee made up of indviduals who serve on program committee within Envision Greater Fond du Lac
