Insight Publications, a division of Woodward Communications, Inc., formally announces Angela O’Kray as its Publisher. As Publisher, O’Kray serves as the chief executive leading all strategic and operational functions for the company. She is an executive leader passionate about driving regional economic success through operational excellence and strategic partnership.
O’Kray has been implementing new ideas and strategic plans since joining Insight over a year ago, leading to her formal appointment as Publisher in November. She brings nearly 20 years of strategic leadership experience across diverse sectors in Northeast Wisconsin—from finance to non-profit leadership. Her cross-sector background provides a rare 360-degree view of the regional economy, which now serves as the foundation of Insight’s sharpened focus on operational excellence and aggressive market growth.
During her tenure as general manager, O’Kray successfully developed and launched innovative sales initiatives, with components now serving as models for other Woodward Communications properties. She also played an instrumental role in coordinating the redesigned Insight on Business print edition unveiled in November.

A graduate of Lakeland College, O’Kray’s leadership journey has been rooted in lifelong learning and deep community involvement. She is a graduate of Leadership Green Bay and the Schreiber Institute of Women’s Leadership, and remains actively engaged as a volunteer supporting leadership development, women, and youth across the region. As a parent of local students, she brings a deeply personal perspective to strengthening the community she calls home.
