New indoor golf and sports bar destination gives families, friends and businesses a year-round place to gather in Fond du Lac
Envision Greater Fond du Lac joined owner Tyler Luedtke, the team at The Approach, local business leaders and community members on Friday, Oct. 2, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the grand opening of The Approach at Ledgeview Lanes, 170 Prairie Rd., in Fond du Lac.
The Approach offers golf simulators, games, food, and drinks, combining the atmosphere of a sports bar with a welcoming, family-friendly setting. Guests can book a simulator bay, join a league or reserve the entire room for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate gatherings and other private events.
“The Approach is the kind of investment that makes Fond du Lac a great place to live, work and play,” said Mike Rhode, Membership Coordinator at Envision Greater Fond du Lac. “Tyler and his team have created a year-round destination that brings people together, gives local businesses a new place to host clients and teams, and adds energy to our community. We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with them.”

The ribbon cutting kicked off a full weekend of celebration. Friday featured giveaways throughout the day, and guests were invited to grab a drink and try the simulators. On Saturday, Oct. 3, the fun continued with golf, food, drinks, the Badgers football game and live music from the Blonde Johnny Band from 8 to 11 p.m.
