Sabre cross country travels to Steve Travis Invite

Marian University cross country continued its season competing at the Steve Travis Invite where each student-athlete ran a personal best.

WOMEN (6K)

  • Nyssa Tinajero continued her strong season finishing 39th in the field of 99 runners.
  • Her time of 27:04.92 was her personal best and helps her hold on to the eighth-fastest time in program history.

MEN (8K)

  • Leading the way for the Sabre men was Dayton Schock who bested his top time finishing 67th at 32:39.26.
  • Greg Spaeth had the best improvement for Marian finishing in 36:49.04 to trim 1:23 off of his previous best time.
