Marian men's bowling opens season at Hammer Golden Eagle Invite

Marian University men’s bowling opened its season with a 12th-place finish at the Hammer Golden Eagle Invite.

The Sabres opened play in 10th after traditional play with a team total of 4,759 pins.
The best game for Marian came in its second game with 1,008 pins.
The Sabres had at least 909 pins in all five games of traditional action.
Baker play proved a little bit trickier for Marian as the Sabres finished with only 2,832 pins to finish 12th.
The Sabres had more than 200 pins in just one of the 16 Baker games with a 257 in the eighth game.
Marian finished the event with 7,591 total pins.
A varsity-reserve team also competed for the Sabres finishing 16th out of 23 teams with 4,112 pins in traditional action and 2,666 pins in Baker format.

	Carson Schrauth finished ninth as an individual with a 212.0 average. He had two games with at least 235 pins.
	Aiden Scott had a 200.8 average to finish in 31st. Scott had three games with more than 200 pins and a high of 215.
	Mauricio Chavez led the varsity-reserve team with a 186.4 average.
