Marian University field hockey (4-2, 0-0 CFHC) came away with a 4-2 victory over Wooster after battling back from a deficit at halftime.
 

• The Sabres came out firing in the opening quarter, outshooting Wooster 6-1 through the first 15 minutes.
• Despite creating several offensive opportunities, Marian was unable to find the back of the net.
• Wooster broke through first in the second quarter, scoring with just 3:42 left in the half to take a 1-0 lead into the break.
• Marian responded quickly in the third quarter with Shaelyn Klassen finding the back of the net just 1:10 into the third quarter, assist to Clara Guivernau Ragghianti.
• The Sabres continued their offensive pressure with Charlotte Touw scoring just 1:54 later to give Marian its first lead of the game.
• Wooster answered early in the fourth quarter, scoring at the 47:34 mark to bring the game level at 2-2.
• The Sabres responded immediately as Touw found the back of the net for her second goal of the game to put Marian back in front 3-2 just 1:18 later.
• Marian continued to pressure offensively and added an insurance goal when Cielo Martinez scored off an assist from Touw, extending the lead to 4-2.
• The Sabres held on through the final minutes to secure the 4-2 victory over Wooster.

• Marian outshot Wooster 28-13, including an 18-5 advantage in shots on goal.
• The Sabres held a 13-4 advantage in penalty corners.
• Marian outshot Wooster in all four quarters and recorded 10 shots in the second quarter, its highest total of any quarter.
• Marian is now 3-0 all-time against Wooster. 

	Charlotte Touw had a hand in three of the Marian goals scoring twice and adding an assist.
	Cielo Martinez scored the first goal of her career to put the game away.
	Emilee Clarey (4-2) recorded three saves in the victory.
