Marian University women’s volleyball (4-9, 0-1 NACC) was defeated by St. Norbert in its first match of NACC play 25-16, 25-12, 25-20.
 

• With a 5-4 lead in hand, St. Norbert broke the opening set open with eight straight points to lead by nine.
• The Green Knights opened the second set with six straight points to take an early lead.
• A 9-1 run later by SNC gave the Green Knights a 19-8 lead and eventually put them ahead 2-0.
• Another quick start saw SNC jump ahead 10-3 to start the third.
• Marian battled back and only trailed 15-12 after a run of 6-2.
• The Green Knights responded, however, scoring the next five points to build enough cushion to secure the sweep.

• St. Norbert had a slim 36-34 edge in kills, while Marian had an advantage in digs at 55-52.
• The Green Knights committed just three errors in the match hitting .330.
• Marian had 14 of its 16 points in the first set come off of kills.
• The Sabres fall to 4-24 all-time against SNC having dropped the last 17 meetings.

	Khloe Walling had a match-high 10 kills, her second straight performance with double-digit kills.
	Sofia Rodriguez posted a match-high 13 digs in the back row.
	Payton Subak added 12 digs for the Sabres.
