National award recognizes outstanding internship programs across the United States
Society Insurance has been recognized as an Employ Humanity Best Internship Program for the third consecutive year, earning the distinction in 2024, 2025 and 2026. The award recognizes organizations that provide exceptional internship experiences and opportunities for professional growth.
“A meaningful and engaging internship program invests in future talent while bringing fresh perspectives and energy to the organization,” said Rose McPhee, senior talent and performance management specialist. “It supports intern growth, strengthens our talent pipeline and creates valuable connections across the company. By giving interns hands-on experiences and opportunities to contribute, the program also helps employees develop as mentors and leaders.”
Since launching its internship program in 2009, Society Insurance has welcomed 169 interns across a variety of departments throughout the organization. In 2026, the company hosted 13 interns, providing hands-on experience, professional development and mentorship opportunities. The program has also served as a strong talent pipeline, with approximately 23% of interns accepting fulltime positions with Society following graduation.
