As SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital celebrates its 75th anniversary, a new donor wall is providing a lasting tribute to the individuals, families, and organizations whose generosity has helped support the hospital’s mission for generations.
The updated donor wall through the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation recognizes the many donors whose contributions have helped strengthen patient care, invest in new technology and enhance services for the Waupun community.
The new display provides a meaningful way to honor philanthropic support while highlighting the important role donors play in sustaining and advancing the hospital’s mission for current and future patients.
“This donor wall is much more than a recognition display,” according to Deb Winterhack, Agnesian HealthCare Foundation Director of Development. “As SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital marks 75 years of caring for this community, it’s an opportunity to celebrate the countless donors whose generosity has helped make that care possible. Their support has had a lasting impact on patients, families, and our community, and this wall will ensure those contributions are honored for years to come.”
As philanthropy continues to grow, hospital and foundation leaders recognized the need for a more adaptable and contemporary recognition system. The new donor wall provides expanded capacity while creating a refreshed and welcoming display that reflects both the hospital’s history and its future.
“For 75 years, SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital has been supported by people who believe in the importance of local health care,” Winterhack says. “Whether someone made a gift decades ago or chose to contribute recently, every donor has played a role in helping the hospital evolve and meet the changing needs of our patients. This wall tells that story.”
The Agnesian HealthCare Foundation wanted to create something that not only recognizes past generosity but also grows with the future of philanthropy at SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital. “This donor wall will help us celebrate those who have shaped the hospital’s first 75 years while inspiring future generations to invest in the health and well-being of our community,” Winterhack says.
