Mercury Racing is pleased to announce The Mercury Racing “Excellence in Trade” Scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year. This program is designed to support local high school students or graduates who will further their education in a trade-related field. The program will offer two scholarships of $5,000 each ($2,500 each semester), intended to alleviate financial stress of post-secondary education.

Mercury Racing relies on skilled individuals with a strong work ethic and passion to build and service our high-performance niche marine products. This scholarship program will help grow the local workforce by providing the education and tools needed to succeed.

These scholarships are available to high school seniors or recent graduates from a public or private high school within the school districts of Fond du Lac, North Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Mayville, Ripon, Rosendale-Brandon, Randolph, Waupun, Oakfield, Lomira, Campbellsport, and New Holstein.

Criteria is as follows:
• The student must be a high school senior or recent graduate from a public or private high school/junior college within the districts of: Fond du Lac, North Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Mayville, Ripon, Rosendale-Brandon, Waupun, Oakfield, Lomira, Randolph, Campbellsport, or New Holstein.
• Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher; submission of official transcript required.
• Must submit two (2) letters of recommendation from a teacher, advisor, employer or other professional reference.
• Must intend to further education in a trade-related field as a full-time student (must provide enrollment information).

Two – $5,000 scholarships for the 2021-2022 academic year will be awarded ($2,500 for each semester of the first year). Checks will be sent directly to the financial aid office of accepted college to be applied to students’ account.
