Lemonade Day Student Registration Open Feb. 8 – Mar. 30

Student registration for Fond du Lac Area’s Lemonade Day will open on Friday, February 8. In its fifth year locally, Lemonade Day teaches students in grades 4-6 how to start, own and operate their own business through the tool of a lemonade stand.

Student registration will be available February 8 to March 30 online at http://lemonadeday.org/fond-du-lac-area or in person at Envision Greater Fond du Lac, 23 S. Main Street, Suite 101, Fond du Lac. This program is free for students due to the generosity of many area business sponsors. Participants are mentored through 15 curriculum lessons which develop business and life skills including goal setting, budgeting and marketing, among others.

“Each year, Fond du Lac area youth have the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship by setting up their business during the community-wide Lemonade Day. This program teaches invaluable life skills to our future leaders, and wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community,” said Bernadette Seefeld, director of educational programs at Envision Greater Fond du Lac. “Please mark your calendars and join us in supporting our young entrepreneurs on Saturday, May 4.”

Once registration concludes, participants will be contacted by the Fond du Lac Area Lemonade Day team when the student backpacks and workbooks are available. Supplies will either be delivered or available for pick-up at the Envision Greater Fond du Lac office.
