“Back to our Roots” at the Agriculture Showcase

The Fond du Lac Area Agri-Business Council invites you to the 16th Annual Fond du Lac Agriculture Showcase on Saturday, March 2, at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Expo Building. This fun-filled family event is open to the public.

“Back to our Roots” is the theme for the 16th Annual Agriculture Showcase. The Agriculture Showcase allows the public to interact with businesses throughout Wisconsin – offering products, activities, information, delicious samples and much more. These businesses have an agricultural connection to the production of food goods or agricultural products and cater to all individuals, families or other businesses in the agricultural field and beyond.

The 2019 Ag Showcase will kick off at 8:30 a.m. with the tradeshow open until 3:00 p.m. Admission to the event is $3 per person, children 10 and under are free. In addition to more than 50 vendor booths, there will be kids’ activities and fun for the whole family.

New to this year’s event is the VIP Tasting Area. For a special price of $35 ($30 for Chamber members), you will be able to join us for a special VIP pairing session at 11:30 am. This year’s VIP tasting area will include three appetizers and a dessert course paired with exclusive beer and wine selections for the most delectable experience.

Back by popular demand is the Country Visions Coop Petting Zoo. A coloring contest, sponsored by 3-D Dairy, Oakfield Elevator Company, Country Visions Coop, We Energies, Compeer Financial, Ballweg Implement, Schmitz East Branch Dairy, and Clover Hill Dairy will be ongoing throughout the day. The coloring contest entry form is available in the Action Advertiser. Scarlet the Milking Cow along with the Fond du Lac County Jr Holsteins will bring dairy to the youth area. To keep with this year’s theme, many of the kid’s area fun will be focused on planting and growing,
Assorted cheeses and summer sausage produced and marketed in the greater Fond du Lac County area, will be available for sampling. Beverage tasting, sponsored by Sand Creek Brewing Company, will also be available.

Proceeds from the Showcase will be used to support the Agricultural Ambassador Program, scholarships and educational activities of the Agri-Business Council.
