The Arc Fond du Lac has appointed Dawn Scannell as Executive Director effective October 27, 2021.

“I look forward to moving into this expanded role,” Dawn Scannell, Executive Director, said. “In my time with The Arc Fond du Lac, I have found my passion. This organization does an exceptional job of providing meaningful opportunities and experiences for those with intellectual and developmental challenges. I’m so proud to be part of it.”

In this role, she will provide vision, as well as inspire and guide staff through a positive internal culture that supports the achievements of their members; think strategically to ensure the financial sustainability of the organization’s programs and services; lead strategic and financial planning, budget control, outreach, development planning, fundraising, communication/marketing strategy, resource and revenue development, and Board development; raise resources to support the organizational mission and cultivate a culture of development; promote best practices; and serve as a service leader and advocate on behalf of the intellectual and developmentally disabled (I/DD) community in Fond du Lac County and surrounding areas.

Scannell joined The Arc Fond du Lac team in 2019 in the role of Director of Finance and Accounting. Prior to The Arc, Scannell served in accounting roles with CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) and Schenck, SC. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lakeland College.
