The Constitution Comes to Life at the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac

The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac (CMFDL) invites you to a week of activities that will commemorate the 1787 adoption of the United States Constitution. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage in a special scavenger hunt, voting activities, story walk, flag timeline and more!  They can also enjoy editable treats, historical artifacts and custom displays provided by the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Fond du Lac Historical Society and Signarama.  Plus Congressman Glenn Grothman and Representative Jerry O’Connor will share information about how the Constitution has shaped our great nation.

“The rights and values put forth in the Constitution by our Founding Fathers shaped the republic we enjoy today, which has served as a beacon of hope world wide since 1776. Throughout Constitution Week it is important to work closely with the Museum staff and volunteers to learn more about the principles presented in our Constitution”  remarked Grothman.

The first 150 visitors will receive a pocket sized Constitution to take home. This fun learning program and related displays is being offered through partner support provided by Jane Gaffney of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Activities for Constitution Week are included with admission which is $8 per person (reduced pricing for seniors, children under 1 and families with demonstrated financial need). Members receive free admission.
