Startup Fond du Lac Week Goes Virtual, Announces 2020 Program

The 5th Annual Event returns November 11 – 18, 2020

Startup Wisconsin Week, the largest entrepreneurship event in our region, will return for a fifth year of programming from November 11 to 18, 2020. The weeklong series of virtual events and programming aims to increase awareness surrounding the local startup ecosystem as well as inspire and equip the community to rally around the digital transformation taking place in the region.

Startup Fond du Lac Week will feature events that will help entrepreneurs and small business owners find funding for their idea, start a business after retirement, discuss diversity and equity issues in business, and also feature a panel discussion with Startup Oshkosh Week. Additionally, a pitch competition, sponsored by New North, will be held the evening of November 18 and is seeking applications from startups now.

“We cannot deny this is a difficult time for our small business community, but we want to ensure our entrepreneurs that now and, in the future, there are resources and experts available to help”, said Sarah Spang, Director of Small Business and Entrepreneurship at Envision Greater Fond du Lac. “The benefit of Startup Wisconsin Week happening virtually this year is not only will there be great programming out of Fond du Lac to tune into, but also from all across the state, so there’s no shortage of options for participating in this week whether you’re local or anywhere in the nation.”

Startup Fond du Lac Week is supported by IGNITE, a program of Envision Greater Fond du Lac. All programs for Startup Fond du Lac Week are free to attend for all.
